How long have you served? What are you most proud of in your service?
Currently finishing second term, 12 years total. The fact that we have continued to offer services to the point that enrollment has continued to increase. Unlike other community college, we have kept a strong financial position, through good sound management.
What goals do you have for WCC?
Continuing to keep a very close oversight of our budget, because of turbulent economic times. More critical then ever, we have to watch our income and expenditures. Help with reaccreditation process in 2009.
What is your connection to WCC?
Board of directors for WCC Foundation. chair of board of directors of the Association of Community College Trustees.

Name: Anne Williams (incumbent), 50, Dexter Township; owns business, ExcellenceQuest, for management and organizational consulting; Bachelor's in biochemistry from Eastern Michigan University, master's in industrial technology from EMU, graduate certificate in management from Lawrence Tech, and doctoral candidate for educational leadership at University of Phoenix.
How long have you served/What are you most proud of in your service?
Served on partial term for a total of two years. Proud of being part of WCC and actively involved in helping with its needs.
What goals do you have for WCC?
To keep the cost of tuition as low as possible and to make sure appropriate services are provided to students, like funding and counseling.
What is your connection to WCC?
Lived most of life in Washtenaw County and many family and friends attend WCC

What can you bring to the board of trustees
Has 30 years of various business administration experience. Understand role of a board.
What goals do you have for WCC?
For the to be able to provide the kind of education that people need. Budget, make sure that college is prepared with "plans A, B and C" if millage renewal doesn't pass.
What is your connection to WCC?
Lived in the community for 30 years. Friends that have served on the board. Has been financially supportive of WCC.

Name: Graeme Rogerson, 36, Milan; automotive engineer/program manager at Jeep; mechanics certificate from WCC and several other degrees from Newcastle University (UK), Hull University (UK) and Ashland Seminary (Ohio)
What can you bring to the board of trustees
Graduated from Washtenaw Community College this year and want the students' voice to be heard by the Trustees and Senior Management at the College.
What goals do you have for WCC?
Ensure that all classes at Washtenaw are transferable to Eastern Michigan University or other colleges in the area.
What is your connection to WCC?
Graduated from WCC this year.

Name: Mark Freeman, 41, Dixboro; owns two small businesses, a local company and Freeman Asset Management; bachelor's in exercise physiology from Eastern Michigan University, working towards master's in accounting at EMU.

Several small business experiences and a strong business education
What goals do you have for WCC?
Really wants to keep vocational program strong and focus on transfer programs
What is your connection to WCC?
Family has lived in Washtenaw before Michigan became a state and always been involved in the community. Taking several classes at WCC.
